Corals at Your Doorstep
Capricorn Coast
Keppel Bay is a large and shallow bay off the nearby city of Rockhampton and Port Curtis is the harbour for Gladstone. Both cities are in Queensland, Australia. These bays are internationally recognised for having abundant and diverse animal and plant species having large areas of mangroves and seagrasses, corals, and a large fish population.
This ‘Capricorn Coast – Corals at Your Doorstep’ education package was initiated by CoralWatch Ambassador David Kopelke, produced by CoralWatch and Hodgeenvironmental and proudly supported by The Fitzroy Basin Association. Additional support has been provided by the partnership between the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. This package is the second in the ‘Corals at Your Doorstep’ series.
